TRI Reagent®是Chomczynski发明的一步法总RNA提取试剂的改良版，是世界知名公司Molecular Research Center(MRC)的专利产品。
TRI reagent方法经过广泛验证和应用，发表文献超过50万篇，是目前最经典和最常用的RNA抽提方法，是快速、经济、高效提取总RNA或同时提取RNA/DNA/蛋白的理想选择，适用于人、动物、植物、细菌、病毒等不同物种来源的多种类型的生物样本。
TRI Reagent®法可在1小时内分离总RNA分子，得到的RNA无DNA或蛋白的污染，后续实验可用于Northern blot、mRNA分离、体外转录/反转录、RNase保护实验、克隆、cDNA文库构建和PCR/qPCR等。
